研究方向

1. 大麦遗传育种及其综合利用:以饲饲料、酒业原料、功能食品、健康粮食、观赏编造和中药材六位一体综合利用为主,开展大麦及其青稞多元个性化育种、营养功能种质创制、分子定向育种、功能食品研发、观赏保健大麦等。

2. 预防慢性病功能稻麦遗传育种:杂交、回交与分子标记等途径培育出预防慢性病高功能成分稻米新品种;以功能稻米及大麦苗粉为主建立功能食品作物的种质、品种、理论、技术、产品、标准和品牌技术体系。

3. 功能食品作物引领功能农业:以营养强化技术培育功能食品作物新品种或种植出高功能成分的农产品;开展功能食品作物新品种选育、特征功能成分挖掘、功能食品研发及其产业共性关键技术创新利用。

教育教学

作为研究生导师,以粮果蔬姜为主作物科学、食品科学及预防医学前沿交叉国际上首次建立了功能食品作物学科;在教育教学中践行社会主义核心价值观,为学生树立正确的政治方向。担任云南大学、云南农业大学硕士研究生导师和中国农业大学农学院第二博士研究生导师等期间,已培养云南省省级人才计划入选者1名、云南省农科院正处2名和副处1名、博士后及硕士研究生34名和亚非杰青(巴基斯坦、孟加拉国、埃及)4名。现培养硕士研究生4名。另外,担任Current Chinese Science、Journal of Biological and Agricultural Advancements、麦类作物学报、云南农业大学学报、大麦与谷物科学编委及Advances in Nutrition等30个SCI收录刊物审稿人。


成果奖励

获国家植物新品种权18个及国家发明专利12件,研制发布地方标准及企业标准15项;注册商标2个,研发功能食品25个;育成国家登记大麦新品种及其审定功能稻米新品种50个,主持选育的新品种累计推2217万亩,增产105.2万吨。获国家及省科学技术一、二和三等奖15项(9项排第1),具体成果奖如下:

1. 2004年“云南稻种资源核心种质库的构建”获云南省自然科学一等奖,排名第2(与第1同等贡献)
